Peer Mentoring

Mentoring- The program provides group mentoring where the teens develop life skills by role play, presentations, and activities that enhance cohesiveness in a group setting. Individualized mentoring to focus on the youth’s individual strengths, challenges, and concerns. 

Academic Enhancement-Is a program developed to assist the youth with preparing for their experience in education. Teaching good study habits, resources, and the importance of school relationships that can shape their future education. Tutoring services will be offered three times per week for school work challenges.

Youth Fit- This program addresses the importance of daily grooming, proper hygiene, and nutrition. Teaching to recognize the signs and removing themselves from unhealthy relationships. Youth Fit incorporates active recreation.

Financial Literacy –This preparation program is to encourage stable money practices. Workshops include: saving verses spending, income management, and credit protection.

Transitioning Todays Teens- This program focuses on real life experiences put into practice: public speaking, mock interviews, business etiquette; completing an application.

Community Service- Is the empowerment driven program, incorporating community resources teaching life skills that only hands on experience can bring.
